The house in the rain. The front corner flashing is finished and I really like the front door section.

Also the bi-fold, front door and the big slide doors arrived. The can is a redbull can (i should have shares by now) to show the size...massive! . Just have to sand and oil now before they go up.

The rain is back.

The centre stairs have gone in.

I had to more all this rock from the pile out the front to out the back so the bobcat and drains could go in. I have a very sore back.

Tiles and grout have gone down.

Fitting the rest of the flashings, the rain has started. Remember the mud from last year?

Wet areas floors have been waterproofed and ready for tiles.

Louvres had been put in. Looking up to bedroom from front door.


Looking out main bedroom and ensuite. They work great and cool the room down in seconds after opening.

Also glass in black frames in the hallway.

We have been very lucky to be able to salvage stone out of a few 100yr old houses that have come down in the valley lately. This will go towards the the dry-stacked stone walls surrounding some of the house. The hard bit is that we have had to move all this from the sites by ourselves and mostly in the dark at night after work. It is apparently from the local area and basket range quarry.


The front door window glass is also fitted.
